Kelly was an amazingly beautiful bride. We took her to the gracious Bellasera Resort in downtown Naples to shoot a few bridal portraits before her wedding. We had such a great time playing with the window light!
Matt and I are fairly active people. We love to get out and hike, bike, and play on the water. Last weekend we took an impromptu bike trip down Vanderbilt Drive in Naples. We rode up through Pelican Bay, then came back. It wasn’t long or especially exciting, but it was a wonderful chance to spend time in the lovely Florida sun, playing together. Get out and do something fun and active this weekend. Reconnect. Re-energize.
Bonus points for all of you since I think this is the last time you’ll see me pose in my biking shorts. This goes for Matt as well. In fact, he hasn’t seen this post yet and I’m not sure he will
Cassie and Scott had a wonderful evening full of dancing and fun. Matt and I even got to go on the dance floor for a few songs!
Cassie and Scott are the cutest couple ever. When we met Cassie we knew she was the perfect match for us. She’s charming, outgoing, and has a laid back surfer vibe. It wasn’t surprising to learn that she met Scott while she was in school in St. Augustine. They both surf together and were certainly a perfect match. We really enjoyed their Fort Myers Beach wedding and I am thrilled to share the images. Part 1 is the Getting Ready and the Ceremony shots. We’ll have some more portraits and the reception tomorrow!
Chantal and Tim had a beach themed wedding with beautiful details provided by Karen and Madi at Detailz Events. Starfish, sand, shells, and lanterns decorated the La Playa Pool area and the candles added to the ambiance. Chantal opted to have special lighting at the reception, which was a fantastic idea. There was just enough light to provide ambiance without overpowering the evening.
Chantal and Tim had a wonderful reception with incredible music provided by DJ Ceron. By the end of the ceremony, someone had talked Chantal into jumping into the pool, and what a site it was. Nearly all the guests jumped in, and then they all got into the hot tub. The water overflowed, but it was well worth it.
Chantal & Tim had a beautiful wedding on the beach at La Playa Beach and Golf Resort in Naples. The weather was cooler than usual for that time of year, and the wind was blowing up a storm. They both specifically requested no portrait time, so we captured the fun that the guests were having. These are the photos from getting ready through the ceremony, and we are looking forward to posting images from the reception – as well as the impromptu trash the dress session – tomorrow.
Chantal and Tim were married at La Playa, and we had the pleasure of capturing their rehearsal dinner the evening before. They had a wonderful dinner of Kobe beef hamburgers and grilled veggies, and then they ended the evening with a slideshow compilation of photos of both of them growing up. Tim has a large family and many wonderful nieces and nephews who were excited to welcome Chantal’s daughter Jackie into the family, so it was a joy to capture all the children playing together on the beach.
Laura & Anderson had their rehearsal dinner at a beautiful outdoor venue. Laura’s color choices were green, and they blended well with the natural greenery all around. In pure southern style, the offered sweet tea and lemonade in the cutest green bucket-looking dispensers and lovely details were speckled throughout. Laura & Anderson travel together and spent one missions trip in Nicaragua, so we placed their wedding bands on the globe to showcase one of the places they have been together. Their reception, held at Zen, was decorated with local art and it was such a lovely space I can’t recommend it enough to the brides who are getting married in South Carolina.
Matt and Anderson were roommates for a few years while he was at Clemson University. We were excited when we heard he was dating Laura and absolutely delighted when Laura said YES to his proposal! We were thrilled when they asked us to be their wedding photographers and we had such a wonderful time at their wedding. They were married at the church where Laura worked and they had their afternoon reception at Zen – an amazing venue in Greenville, South Carolina.
